Description

The purposes of the project consist of the following:

  • To study formation of ethnic identities
  • To describe the conditions under which ethnic identifications lead to ethnic conflict
  • To create a social- psychological training, which can help the processes of peace building in Crimea.

The project examines the impact of security orientation (on issues such as Crimean autonomy, and Ukraine's relations with NATO and Russia) on attitudes and conflict behaviour of Crimea's three major ethnic groups.
