Description The main focus of the research is to develop a comparative understanding of the position of Russians as minorities in in Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Kazachstan . Local perceptions may range from an accepted and integrated component of the nation state to a Fifth Column ready to collaborate with an aggressive neighbour in returning to the status quo ante.

Data collection has been finalized and is analysed
