Description

Research in Italy forms the baseline of the project. The first stage of the study was finalised in May 1995. The next step will be to test an extended model to explain prejudice in the Netherlands. A PhD-project has started for that purpose linked to the Research School AWSB of Utrecht University. A further step will be to test the model in Austria, for which an application has been submitted to the Austrian Government in co-operation with Professor dr C. Wallace from the Institut für Höhere Studien in Vienna. An application to test the model in France is in preparation.

An expert conference on racism and education in European countries The conference funded by the Dutch Ministry for Healh, Welfare and Sports (VWS), was organised by ERCOMER in October 1997
