Katerina Pouliasi

ERCOMER web manager ( 1999-2002), Editor of the Virtual Library on Migration and Ethnic Relations.

Katerina Pouliasi has graduated Economical and Political sciences at the University of Thessaloniki, (M.A.) Greece. She has a background in development of management information systems, information analysis, design and  visual display of information. Currently she concentrates on database design and dynamically generated web pages with moderating interfaces applied to information systems in the field of migration, ethnic minorities, racism and xenophobia.

She acted as web site Manager for ERCOMER from September 1999 to December 2002.

She has also background in social research with current research interest in biculturalism among Greek-Dutch children.

She has also participated in the European Arm of the METROPOLIS project. On behalf of the European Commission (DG XII) the European arm of the Metropolis secretariat has conducted an Cross European countries comparative survey of experiences with and perceptions of the use of scientific information in policy development in the area of migrants and cities. Mrs Pouliasi has conducted the interviews in Greece.
